The dangers of inadvertently committing acts of plagiarism in writing are numerous and subtle, yet every year students face severe penalties by violating Academic Honesty policies. In this class, students will learn to fully define the many facets of plagiarism and to apply the steps necessary for avoiding it in their writing. Students will explore and practice proper use of quotations, citations, and paraphrasing techniques.
