Using Inspiration in the Classroom (K-12)
This course will focus on how to use Inspiration® in the classroom for both the teaching and the learning process. Teachers will learn how to use Inspiration® software to organize thinking, visualize and develop concepts, and easily construct diagrams and outlines to support students in the writing process. Exciting lesson plans in a variety of curriculum areas using Inspiration® will also be shared. (Note: You either need to own the Inspiration software or download a free trial in order to participate in this course. Directions to download the trial version are easy and provided in the course.)
Using Microsoft Word in the Classroom (K-12)
Learn how to use Microsoft Word in your classroom for both the teaching and learning process. You will learn how to create many useful documents for your students and classroom. Find out how to quickly and easily create class newsletters, templates, and awards. You will also learn how to use Microsoft Word for classroom writing.
Using Microsoft Excel in the Classroom (3-12)
Learn how to use Microsoft Excel in your classroom for both the teaching and learning process. You will learn how to create many useful documents for your students and classroom. Exciting classroom activities using Excel will also be shared. Activities have an emphasis in mathematics.
**NEW** Using Technology in the Classroom (K-12)
This course will focus on the basics of effectively using technology in the classroom. You will learn ways to integrate technology into your classroom curriculum with a focus on using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. You will also learn the basics of conducting searches for educational websites on the Internet and how to use those sites to develop online curriculum projects. Finally, you will gain awareness of technology that is available for differently-abled students.
