Under the requirements of Act 733 Plumbing Acts of 2002, all Journey and Master Plumbers are required to attend a five-hour Michigan Plumbing & Residential Code update within 12 months of a code update as a condition of license renewal. This must be completed no later than July 31, 2009. (The Chief of the Plumbing Division has extended the registration of the course "MPMCA Plumbing Code Update 2006 Online". This extension may expire at any time; delaying registration is not recommended.) After you have completed all the modules of the Code Update Program and the Final Assessment, you will receive confirmation of completion and MPMCA will forward a Certificate of Completion, on your behalf, to the Plumbing Division of the Bureau of Construction Codes.

You can now complete the State requirements for Code Update without having to leave your home or business. If you are a snow bird or live outside of Michigan, this course is ideal. It’s simple and easy; all you have to do is click here to register. The cost for the class is $159.00.
